Fancy a tapas restaurant in London?

The Shed is definitely the place in London when it comes to Tapas. It’s unconventional tapas and this is why The Shed is my favourite restaurant in London, by faaar!!!

It’s THE Tapas place you should definitely try when in town! Cute little eatery in Notting Hill, hidden from the tourists eyes, but yet always full! It’s that kind of place you want to take all your friends to try some of your favourite dishes and this is how you find again and again a reason to go back! This reminds me that it’s been some time since our last visit and that I’d better book a table 🙂

There’s no meal without the sourdough bread, so why not to order their delicious

THE SHED MALTSTAR SOURDOUGH BREAD & SMOKED BUTTER 2.5

Their recommendation is to get 2-3 dishes per person, we usually get 2 each and it’s more than enough. But it’s true that it’s very much dependent on what you’re choosing and whether you decide to get the bread as well.

Some recommendations from us on what to choose from their menu (hope they haven’t changed it much:))

CHORIZO, LABNEH, KALE, CRISP BREAD  – this is absolutely, with no doubt, my favourite. I love the combination of spicy chorizo with the mild labneh to go together on the crisp bread.

LAMB CHIPS, HARISSA, LEMON, PARSLEY – these lamb are the reasons I’ve reconsidered eating lamb! They are just perfect, nothing else to add.

BEEF CIGARS, SHED MUSTARD, TARRAGON – lovely, tasty, crispy beef cigars

HAKE, HERB SPÄTZLE, SMOKED BACON BROTH, CLAMS

HONEYCOMB CRUNCHIE, MASCARPONE, TARRAGON SUGAR (to your disappointment, I’ve got no photo of the pudding, but this is yet another reason for you to see it with your own eyes)

You’d better book in advance, as they are most of the time fully booked. Well in advance is recommended if you’re thinking to go over Friday-Saturday.

The good news is that they have a second restaurant in Chelsea, with a slightly different menu, still delicious!

Leave us a comment if you’ve enjoyed it as much as we did! 🙂
